Summary: Replaced External 2um filter on LGR, installed CNR1 for calibration,lowered second tower.

Arrived about 9am with Ben And Sarah. Frank Anderson and technician John arrived a little later. Initially foggy lifting to low overcast. Li7500 wet. Calm to light breeze. Pepper weed ground down by cows, soil wet and dark. New green grass (3-4cm) in some areas. Cows to the west.

Verizon said it was connected but no connectivity. I found multiple instances of Verzion hardware drivers. Deleted all and reinstalled Verizon USB modem on USB hub in back freeing front USB port for external drive. Connecting when I left, but still initialization problems.

Shut down scroll pump and added new 2um filter (check filter orientation) and replaced 40um screen at inlet. After LGR restart: 2.2ppm, 13.12C, 147.2 Torr, 15.75us 10Hz.

All data downloaded and moved to 2008 folder – need to create 2009 folder.

Installed second CNR1 on separate CR10X. No connection to computer. Sampling once every 2sec saving averages once every 2 minutes. Should have about 75 days of internal storage.

Lowered tripod tower so that center of sonic and LI7500 path are at about 67” (170cm) above ground.

Set NoSerialMouse in boot.ini file. This should keep Windows from treating the sonic serial connection as a mouse and blocking winflux. Need to keep an eye on this to see if it works.

Cleaned radiometers.

3” of water in water trap near 2um filter – drained.

At 11:36 restarted computer. Loggernet had locked up and I had to reset the computer to get it to restart. All was well on restart. However, last couple of days of 2008 had not been transferred from the data loggers to the computer because of Loggernet problem. Transferred after restart but not copied to be brought back.
