I arrived about 1:30pm with Ana. It was very hot and dry, but with a nice breeze. Thunderstorms were building over the Sierras. It doesnâ€™t look like it has rained here recently though.

I swapped the 7500 on the Tower, sn 0035 came off and sn 0418 went on.
Before swap: 14.4mmol/m3 CO2, 952mmol/m3 H2O, 99.03kPa, 38.06C, 249diag
After swap: 15.4mmol/m3 CO2, 642mmol/m3 H2O, 99.3kPa, 37.0C, 248diag

I tried to swap the 7500 on the Floor site. The IRGA sn 42 that calibrated just fine in the lab did not start up properly â€“ the startup light would not go out and the data was bad. So I left sn 73 on the tower.

I cleaned the outside of the Tower phenocam window.

I serviced the zcams. Zcam1 still needs its window reaffixed. Zcam2 has not been running for a while. I found a break in its power cable. I was able to roughly splice the cable, but it needs to be replaced (four conductors).

Ana collected data from both computers and swapped the card on the Floor CR1000. She also collected data from her wind profile and IRT sensors.

We did moisture point measurements but only one rep. Probe B had a gopher mound right next to it.

I took photos of the dendrometers that I could fine.

Did not calibrate co2 profile system.
Did not collect data from well auto logger.

Both the Floor fence and the Tower fence had broken wires that we fixed. The gate to the Tower was left open last time. Peter Franks was there on the 15th.

The tower computer crashed again. A few days of Phenocam images and Tram data were lost. I want to swap out that computer with one of the new compute sticks soon.
