Summary: Cows gone. Data download. Regular fieldwork. Cleaned external LGR filter.

Sherman
2015-03-05

We arrived around 08:45 PST. It was sunny, cool and calm. The gate to the pasture was gone and there had clearly been no cows in the field recently. There was full coverage of a green grass layer. There were also worn tire tracks from the missing gate going passed the tower to the east. We drove onto the field following the tire tracks. I attended to data download and checking the readings while Sara did spectral and Joe cleaned instruments and did veg height. Joe noticed water condensation in the LGR tube, so he blew out the external filter with compressed gas.

LGR readings: 2.1 ppm, 09:19, 19.8 C, 119.3 Torr (adjusted to 144.7 Torr), 14.7 us, 10 Hz

7500 readings:
CO2: 18.2 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
H2O: 410 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
P = 103.0 kPa
T = 16.6 C
Diag: 248 (same after cleaning)
Sos: 340.0 m s-1

Met looked good.
Cleaned radiometers.
