Sherman Island: 2015-02-05 09:00:00 (DOY 36)
Author: Joe Verfaillie
Others: Sara

Summary: Standard fieldwork, replaced HMP45 fan, replace 40um filter on LRG inlet.

Sherman
2015-02-05

I arrived about 9:00 with Sara. There was thick fog and heavy dew on the ground. The cows have really beaten down the standing litter in the field.

The LGR read: 9:10, 21.68C, 78.5Torr, 14.732, 10Hz, 2.271
The 40um filter was plugged up. After we replaced it I had to tighten the bypass value about two turns. 143.3Torr

After cleaning the 7500 read: 19.81mmol/m3 CO2, 445.0mmol/m3 H2O, 101.87kPa, 13.99C, 248

The computer was hung up and needed a hard restart.

Sara did veg height and cleaned the sensors.

I replace the fan and screw terminal on the HMP45 shield.

Veg Height (cm): Tape measure from ground to top of plant - mostly short green grass (represented by measurements here) and standing litter (between 40 and 90 cm in height)
2, 4, 1, 5, 2, 8, 1, 2, 5, 2, avg = 3.2, stdev = 2.25
