I arrive about ? with Siyan. It was partly sunny when we arrived but got colder and darker with just a little breeze. The pond is still very low. The ground is wet, but there were no puddles. The trees have either lost their leaves or turned brown. The grass looks very healthy.

When we arrived the tower eddy flux was not running. The sonic serial stream had hung up halting both the winflux and CR1000 data collection. Power outages due to a number of days on low solar power were probably the cause. Restarting the sonic PSU fixed it.

The CO2 profile system was also having problems. I changed all the inlet filters â€“ they were dirty. Solenoid #2 was stuck and not opening. I moved port two to one of the spare solenoids in the set. The LI-820 path was dirty. I took it apart and cleaned it. After cleaning I was able to calibrate the system, but later, Siyan found it was dirty again. We left it that way.

The OSU tipping bucket near the tower was full of water. I unplugged it and let the water run through.

The tram had derailed about 2/3 the way down the track. I reset it and it started to run again but I did not see it complete a run.

I checked on the Vaisala CO2 probes. Tree 2 had not been reporting correctly. The data logger had some problem. I downloaded the program from the 10x and re-uploaded it. This seemed to fix the problem. Siyan wrote down all the probe serial numbers. We swapped one probe at tree 2 that was throwing errors.
