8/19/2010 I arrived about 7:50PST. It was clear, sunny, warm and warming with little to no wind. Little change in vegetation. Dragon flies are gone, and grasshoppers are greatly reduced. I worked on fixing the tipping bucket problem. I read the CR23X’s status info in the *B mode: Program Signature 23594 OS Signature 36790 K bytes memory 1664-- EO8 00 Table overruns 00 OS version 10916 OS revision 0019 Lithium battery 2.8476 Low 12V 00 Flash errors 00 Flash erase 0.000 Low 5V 00 Program time 2102.8 Panel Temperature 21.212 Coprocessor Rev 02 Coprocessor status 00 At Campbell’s recommendation I wrote a short program with Shortcut for only the tipping bucket, and this seemed to work. However, when I wrote the same program by hand using Edlog it did seem to work. The 23X has had a factory check relatively recently – last cal was July 13, 2007. I also noticed that the bird deterrent stick on the NR-Lite was casting a shadow across the upward sensor face (see photo). I removed the stick. I cleaned the radiation sensors. I left for Tonzi about 10:30PDT. |
