Summary: Ice covering field! Cover to rain gauge off. Brig HMP45 fan next time.
| Twitchell Rice 2013-12-06 We arrived about 09:30 PST. It was sunny, calm, and close to freezing (3 C). There was of ice atop the water in the field. I downloaded data while Sara and Joe attended to the tower. The cover to the rain gauge was off replaced. THe HMP45 fan is dead bring new for next time. 7500 readings: CO2 = 435 ppm (448 after cleaning) H2O = 278 mmol m-3 (240 after cleaning) signal strength = 84.3% (88.9% after cleaning) t = 6 C p = 102.8 kPa sos = 332.3 m s-1 7700 readings: CH4 = 2.8 ppm (same after cleaning) RSSI = 8-14% variable (56% after cleaning and removing spider webs) Reservoir was close to empty. There was a break in the line near the reservoir outlet. Spliced line and refilled reservoir. Met looked good. Only 3 camera pics. |
