I arrived at about 11:30 with Dennis, Siyan, Shiping and Eva. It was mild and sunny with a gusty breeze building. There were some puffy with clouds to the east. The rain of last weekend did nothing to improve the dryness. The trees look much more brown and have fewer leaves than the ones at Vaira. Lots of dead leaves on the ground.

Siyan did the standard fieldwork.

I reorganize the box with the sonic PSU and CR1000 near the tower top. I removed the metal back plane and replaced it with a wooden one. I bolted the CR1000 at the top and the PSU sideways at the bottom. There are two terminal strips, one for power and one for the analog channels. These I left loose but they need to be replaced or bolted down.

Dennis discovered that a bird had removed the incoming Teflon filter on the LED sensor. He found the filter on the ground with holes in it. We removed the LED sensor for repairs.

I started to reorganize the box with the PSU and CR1000 for the Floor tower but decided to wait. The CR200 that controls the camera is in that box too. I think I can move the camera code to the CR1000 and remove the CR200. I will try this next time. There are terminal strips here too that will need to be remounted or replaced.

The serial line to the north sap flow station was broken. The station is still running, but I think I will remove this when the ground gets wet.

The Compact Flash Module on the Floor CR1000 has a broken eject button. Pushing the button does not cause the LED to turn green and free the card for ejecting. I will swap out the CFM next time.

I checked the coefficients on the CO2 profile. The CO2 seems to be fine, but the pressure seems off. I changed the range on the LI840 from 90-120 to 0-1333.2. This new range was determined from the coefficient set in the data logger program (0.53328). This didnt seem to change the readings.
