Summary: Rice is growing. Set out LAI transect. Swapped out 7500A head and reinstalled TDR #2. All generally well.

Joe, Laurie and I arrived at approximately 08:15 PDT. It was breezy, sunny, and cool, about 16 C. The rice is steadily growing, currently about 10 cm tall. The ~2 m swath in front of the tower is weed-ridden and much taller (~1 m) since it was not plowed. We swapped out the 7500A head (removed s/n 2180, installed s/n 0065). Also reinstalled TDR #2. Iryna joined us at the site. She and Laurie stayed to set out the LAI transect and do field work at the other sites while Joe and I split off to move the corn tower.

7500 readings after swap (s/n 0065):
CO2 = 409 ppm
H2O = 535 mmol m-3
agc = 13.5
p = 102.5 kPa

7700 readings:
CH4 = 1.9 ppm
RSSI = 17.2 (bumped to 60 after cleaning)
The reservoir was almost full, refilled to 100%.

MET looked good. We cleaned the radiation instruments, which were not very dirty. There were no camera pics, I ensured program start upon reinstalling the card.

Ground and radiation sensors not seeing typical rice ground cover
