Title: Minidot Comparison - 5/2017
Date:2019-06-12
Data File:
Refers to:sn 1219, sn 1220, sn 1221

The three miniDOT sensors are Mayberry were set to the same height from 2017-05-10 to 2017-05-25. The sensors were on a fence post in the channel, and when installed, 10 cm below the water surface and 20 cm above the muck layer. MiniDOT A and C looks reasonable and well matched, but miniDOT B was bottoming out. It bottomed out as soon as we mvoed the sensor midday on 2017-05-10, and rose to match the other two sensors on 2017-05-23, two days before we came back to visit the site on 2017-05-25.

Assumption: miniDOT A = sn 1221, miniDOT B = sn 1220, miniDOT C = sn 1219

When looking at temperatures, though, the three sensors seem reasonable.

The 1-minute data shows the same pattern, with DO_B bottoming out for most of the "comparison."

Looking at temperatures across the whole time range (2014-10-19 to 2019-06-01), it looks like the data has been put away correctly, with A = upper sensor, B = mid sensor, and C= lower sensor. Starting 2017-05-25, there were only two depths measured at the site.
