Summary: New air conditioner installed. Sonic found not reporting and removed for lab check. UC Davis in field.

2011-06-30 I arrived about 9am with Jaclyn, Dennis, Jose, Emily and Maribel. It was warm with little to know wind. The rice is flooded and looks good, about 20 to 30cm high. I installed a new air conditioning unit. I was a little narrower than the previous unit so use some plywood to fill the gap. LGR was okay: 9:22PST, 26.74C, 143.85Torr, 16.072usec, 10Hz, 1.870ppm Dennis noticed that the sonic was not reporting data to the computer. The transmit light on the PCI was not blinking. Testing all cable connections did not fix it so the sonic, cables and PCI box were removed. UC Davis was there working with their chambers. |
