Summary: Sap flow maintenance, Moisture Point readings, Pine tree DBHs
| WHO: Nancy Kiang (drove with: Ted Hehn) WHERE: Tonzi Ranch WHEN: 1/23/2002 WEATHER: 56 F. Sunny, chilly. WHAT: Install new sapflow heater on tree71, measured Moisture Point sensors, other misc. Arrived ~11:50 PST. Sunny, very clear, high 56 F. 13:00 PST. Replaced heater on Tree71 with heater H39. Battery voltage of sapflow setup near understory tower is 12.38V. -Fixed insulation on all sapflow trees so that not jamming dbh meters. -Installed ground rod for tz4 CR10X. -Measured the 5 Moisture Point soil moisture sensors, 3 times each. Ted Hehn put boardwalks next to each. New data in: New_amador:\Sites\Tonzi_Oak_Savanna\Soil_Property\Soil_Moisture -Measured pine tree dbh's within +-30 m of line from corners 9 to 15 (200m line from tall tower, where "far" sapflow setup is).
