Summary: PC not talking to CR10x - fixed, PC watch dog running in table to maybe be locking up CR10x, Running on two SLA batteries
| Vaira 2002-01-23 -14:30 Hehn arrives – all appears well -Install cat walks on Vaira exclosure. -PC not communicating with CR10x – reboot PC – no help -Disconnect/reconnect all coax connectors- no help -Remove ribbon cable from CR10 to MD9 – OK communication regained. Campbell App. Engineers indicate -- measure 5&12 volt before and then after unplugging blue ribbon cable (5 V may be loading down to some trivial voltage). Try swapping out ribbon cables. View *B 4,5,9, 10 locs - if any number shows type 88 and hit enter, terminal mode: 7h enter mode, shift *B enter, to 4,5,9,10 locs -- 4th is most important. Operating system 1.17 is most recent *B 6,7 locs show version – if old version down load from web site and upgrade. ----------Ted is using program table 2 for PC watch dog with 2 second execution interval and 60 second delay before booting pc. This causes a “exceed execution error that may be filling *B error loc 4 to capacity locking the data logger. This must be diagnosed upon next visit. -Down load data -Vaira site ran continuously with 2 sealed acid batteries (85 Ahr/ea) during past week. Leave these SLA batteries so comparison with 4 deep cycle (100Ahr/ea) can be made. -Leave site |
