Notice little difference in the grassland in the open vs within the enclosures.

1. sfc renewal signals looked aok
2. CR-23x, Ta 22; RH 41; PAR 1400; Rnet 341
3. CR 10x; volt 12.96; Tsoils ~ 25 c; soil moisture ~ 200 – 300
4. Uploaded new program to CR 10x with new code for the KZ 4 band net radiometer. Signals were CM# up: -6.28; CG# up+ -6.28; CM3 dn: -6.28; CG# dn: 0; PRT: 139.
5. The system is not working correctly. Talked to Ted on this. Looks like we’ll need to shuffle channels between the CR-10 and CR 23x to free up 6 channels on the main data logger. At present the KZ is on the multiplexor and is not being read correctly.
6. rebooted pc at 9:01
7. tried to read soil moisture, but got bad readings. The power supply had been recharged and seemed to have altered the setup. Initial mode read 1 3 1. Later at Tonzi I was able to reset the mode. Zero for manual reading and 8 for the K probe with 4 15 cm segments.

9. Cleaned dust off the pyranometer. It was pretty dirty. Could not reach the Nrlite. Next time we need to bring the ladder to the site or leave another step ladder to regularly maintain the radiometers!!!

The second net radiometer is not operating yet, as it is being fixed. Two Rnets are operating in the understory however! The data output file needs to reflect this with an average value for the two sensors!

Talked to Mr Tonzi about the cows. They were removed recently. The range held about 120 cow calf pairs; but the calf yield was only about 100.
