Arrived about 11am with the LGR trailer. Dennis, Jaclyn, and Abhinav arrived and hour or so earlier and we working on installing Vaisala CO2 probes. The field looks dry, little water in the ditches. Sunny, warm, strong breeze from the northwest. Vegetation inside the cow fence is waist high, outside still clipped close to the ground by the cows. Cows in the west end of the field.

I first left the LGR trailer at the new levee location (38° 1' 56.18"N,
121° 46' 19.25"W), then returned to the Sherman tower to get the secondary tower and tools. The tripod broke some of its fittings trying to get it to fold. We set up the tower with guy wires in the new location.

Forgot the mount for the LI-7500 head, I attached it with a hose clamp.

Also need a fitting to reduce the large outlet tube fitting to a medium size fitting for connection to the external pump. I fudged a fitting and connected the external pump but the pump didn’t seem to be strong enough. Turning the bypass valve fully in both directions never brought the cell pressure below the rail at 155Torr. I left the system running on the internal pump.

I could not get the serial output to register on the CR1000. Need to bring a null modem to analyze the serial output with a computer.

Brought in four LGR gas cans, need to fill and run generator next time out.

Need to make copy of keys so others can service trailer.

LGR at Sherman tower ring time still above 11usec, calibrated okay by Dennis et al. Have our other FMA returned from repair at LGR.

Asked Frank for spare pump.
