Summary: Standard fieldwork, went to the pond, all seems well

Daphne and I arrived at about 10:15. It was mostly overcast with light patchy rain threatening. The ground is damp with puddles in the road but the surface of high exposed spots is almost dry. The grass hasnâ€™t changed in height still about 5cm tall, but looks to be more densely covering the ground.

At the tower Daphne downloaded the data and measured the well level. The well level was 58.33ft. I did the soil moisture, spectral measurements with the Jaz and cleaned the sensors. The last two Jaz measurements were inside the cow fence where standing litter is hiding a lot of the new green sprouts.

We went to the pond. The road was in good shape but we had 4-wheel drive. The pond level was 17.44ft about a meter higher than last time.

There were a least three trees that had fallen down in the rocky rise north of the road on the half closest to the gate.
