Summary

1. Overall EC systems were running well. Data were downloaded
2. Today was the first time to download Vaira’s CR23X (gr3*.23x) data after Ted re-set up the new program with two multiplexers. CG1_UP (longwave_incoming) = -1.13, maybe need switch wirings.
3. Dennis replaced MD9_x.exe files to fix the problem of file naming. Be sure to rename the two files with the same name next time.
4. Dennis and Lorraine took soil bulk density and moisture samples.
5. Leaf samples were taken from the trees with Tag 222, 225,227,228, and 33. Those trees were marked by flaggings.
6. Siyan set up 30 flags around floor site for regeneration study.

Tonzi_Tower Site

1. Fence and gate power: >12.0 v.
2. Panel and Batteries: 13.3 v; 0.0 amps; 4.7 amps.
3. Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data. (The value of H2O and CO2 should be in the range of 0 – 5 v.)

4. Download data. (Alt_X to close Gillsonic.exe; close PC208W before copying.) After download data Gillsonic was frozen again. Dennis turned off the power for about 1 minute, and then it works. Reading from Gillsonic screen after downloading data looks good.
5. Check calibration cylinders;
   CO2 2000 psig; flow 1.6 psi.
   N2 900 psig; flow 10.0 psi.
6. CO2 profile looks OK from Floor PC, but cell temperature was 30^oC instead of 50^oC. Manually calibrate Li-800 was not done.
7. Dennis climbed the tower and cleaned up the sensors.
8. Checking CR10X and CR23X:
   CR10X OK. CR23X – NR_2 = -9999.

Tonzi_Floor Site

3. Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data. (The value of H₂O and CO₂ should be in the range of 0 – 5 v.)
