Summary: Rain last night, radio connection for OSU SP1, new fan for Tower HMP45, old FLIR cal panel removed. First midday water potential of the season.

I arrived at about 11:30 with Siyan and Jiangong. It was partly cloudy and wet from last nightâ€™s rain. The ground is a little less soggy. Young cows are at play. I saw lots of small oak seedlings coming up but they probably will not make it. The trees are pretty much completely leafed out but still very light green of new leaves.

The LattePanda was okay. Itâ€™s still leaving most of the FLIR images in the Raw folder, but they rename fine using the creation date. The data logger files all seem to have accumulated correctly. I need to adjust names to match the database naming conventions. I manually collected the data from the OSU SP1 station and then added a radio sn 35785 to the box and connected it to the LattePanda. It seemed to work well.

The tower 7500 was still wet but read fine after cleaning.

Cows had chewed the wires on the old wooded FLIR cal panel. I took down the panel and brought it all back to the lab. I donâ€™t think it is needed any more. Apogee IRT sn 7385 and CR10x sn 47772 came in.

I forgot to bring fresh 7500s to swap for calibration.

I replaced the HMP45 fan at the top of the tower.

Siyan did the first midday water potential of the season.

I serviced the z-cams and brought in a couple of the tram tripods to use for instrument inter-comparisons at Oxford Tract.
