Summary: Standard data collection, lots of flowers, removed LED sensor and old LI-820 CO2 profile from the Tower.

I arrived at about 11am with Siyan. The morning overcast broke up to patchy, high thin clouds. There are still lots of flowers and the trees look happy. There were cows hanging out at the watering tank.

I collected all the data including the Global Water logger now in the east well next to the road. The phenocam had only recorded 126 images of the CF card again.

I removed the LED sensor sn LED-05 from the Tower top. It had been giving bad readings for weeks (months?) and the SRS NDVI and PRI sensor have been running there for a year or more.

I removed the old Tower co2 profile equipment. I remove the two boxes and their contents: LI-820 sn CGA-556, CR10X sn 47253 wp 10203, MD9 sn 4004, solenoids, pump, relays. I left the external tubing, power lines and cal gas control lines in place. I might use some of this to run cal gas to the Vaisala sensors in the future. I also brought in an aluminum gas cylinder for return to Prax.

Siyan did the standard fieldwork including midday water potential.
