Summary: Standard field work, spectra library with ASD, first leaf water potential, removed northeast sap flow station.

I arrive at about 10:00 with Siyan, Alex and Ana. Everything is super green. All the trees have leaves although some individuals are only about 50 percent. There were puddles in the road but the ground is not squishy. There are some flowers here and there. It was clear, sunny and cool with a gusty breeze shifting from south to west.

Ana and Alex used the ASD spectrometer to get spectra of different ground cover that Ana hopes to use to classify satellite images. Later they pulled out the remains of the northeast sap flow station trees # and #?

I collected all the data. I added split loom to the new well sensor cable from the data logger to the well. I fixed a broken wire on the cow fence around the soil co2 site.

Siyan did the usual field work including leaf water potential for the first time this year.
