Summary: Camera was off - fixed, standard fieldwork, went to the pond - lower than last year

I arrived at about 9am with Siyan and Daphne. It was clear sunny and warm. I was surprised to see puddles on the road and that the water hole was completely full. The grass is green and short, and the ground is wet as well maybe partly from the morning dew. We met Jim Vaira who was on his way to the barn to do some weed control.

The air was very still in the Delta where there was Tule fog and the water was mirror smooth.

Daphne collected the met and soil co2 data to Siyan's USB stick and collected USB GHG to the silver laptop.

The 7500 read: 420ppm CO2, 413mmol/m3 H2O, 20.2C, 100.6kPa, 108SS

Siyan did the soil moisture, clip plots and spectral measurements.

I moved one of the test TCs from the multiplexer to the CR10X since I have had no luck converting the mV to C. The first test TC (-2cm tube) is now on SE 10 and was reading 20C.

The Phenocam only recorded about three days of images. It didnâ€™t have power and I finally discovered a broken link on the old style screw terminal. I rewired it to avoid the broken link and the camera was running correctly again. The fan to the HMP45 might have been off too â€“ need to double check that next time, and rewire that entire power junction.

I also copied some of the cell modem settings off the computer for use at Tonzi and the Delta.

We went to the pond. The stream was running well and the road was damp but didnâ€™t give our minivan any trouble. The pound is several feet lower (19.52ft) than it was at this time last year.
