Summary: Fixed z-cam clocks, few Phenocam images

I arrived at about 10:45 with Siyan. It was cool with a thin overcast and little to no wind. Rain is coming later today. The surface of the ground here is dry and the tips of the grass sprouts have browned especially in the open areas.

I collected the tower, z-cams and soil CO2 data. Siyan collected the Floor data and did the regular field work including clip plots.

The Tower had only recorded a handful of Phenocam images again. I poked at the camera and the CR1000. The camera seemed okay but could not ftp images to the CR1000. Swapping the CFM card fixed the problem. So it seems something was locking up the ftp service on the CR1000. It might be a poor Ethernet cable from the Phenocam to the Ethernet switch. I should probably leave a spare Ethernet cable there for the computer too.

I changed the LI7550 IP address to 192.168.2.75 and plugged it into the Ethernet switch. The old eddy Campbell enclosure now only has a 24V power strip in it that should be moved in the CR1000 box.

I cleaned the radiometers.

I service the z-cams and checked all their clocks.
Z-cam 1: 4 days ahead - 2018-01-07 to 2018-01-04
Z-cam 2: 6 min ahead â€“ 12:03 to 11:75
Z-cam 3: 2 min ahead â€“ 12:09 to 12:07

I think I reset the z-cam 1 & 2 CR10X clock recently. The CR200 for z-cam 3 was 12 min ahead. I reset it from 12:30 to 12:18.

I collected the soil co2 data and the FD Chamber data.

The electric fences seemed okay but the batteries on the soil co2 and tower seemed a little low maybe.

I made some measurements of the tower dimensions:
N-S width is 4ft
E-W width is 5ft
269cm to first cross piece with a stud
6ft between cross pieces with studs
First inlet is 20cm above the slab
Second inlet is 124cm above the slab
