Summary: Installed FD chambers, added DC converter to Eos GP sensors, cleaned up met data logger wiring.

Daphne and I arrived at about 10:30. It was mild, sunny and super dry. The trees still have leaves. Rain is coming â€“ probably Thursday night.

I worked on installing three Eosense FD chambers on loan to us for three months. I put one at each soil co2 profile location:

West sn 20160005
North 20160004 (did not power up â€“ brought back to the lab)
East sn 20160006

I added a DC-DC converter to the 24V line in the box from the batteries to supply 12V to the chambers. Chamber 20160004 did not power up. I also tried to run it from a battery and another cable but it still didnâ€™t work. I brought it back to the lab to test. It worked just fine in the lab. It may be a temperature problem â€“ Eosense mentioned a â€œheat-start-up issueâ€ but thought it had been fixed. The FD chambers were installed on the provided collars and tied down with cable ties.

I added another DC-DC converter to the Eosense GP probes on the relay controlled 24V bus.

Daphne worked on cleaning up the met wiring some more.
