Summary: Regular data collection, many brown trees, updated met datalogger program

We arrived at 10:30. It was sunny, hazy, and warm. There was a hot spell last weekend, with temperatures ~45C. Many of the trees have some brown leaves, and about 1/3 of the trees are completely brown. Based on our past data, the leaves start browning/falling around this time.

Dennis collected soil moisture data. Siyan collected spectral, flux, and phenocam data. I collected met data and updated the CR1000 program to v20170907.CR1. This new program now records all 4 LED channels. I also started cleaning up the wiring with the CR1000/AM1632. Joe connected the CR1000 to the computer using the RS232 line that was connected to the radio link to the pond.

Joe, Dennis, and Siyan collected pond data. The pond level was about 14.3ft.

We left around 11:50.
