I arrived about 10:00 with Siyan. It was mostly sunny and warm. There was fog earlier that left dew on the grass. The trees are beginning to put on leaves.

When we arrived the tower computer was 20 days, 2 hours and 30min behind. This had reset the tflux, tmet, and sm/fmet data loggers. First I reset it to PDT then PST but 12 hours off then finally correctly just before we left.

Seems the tower computer clock is still wrong! The last time I changed the clock, I set it 12hours ahead instead of 12hours back (changed the time but not the day). So now the data is one day ahead. The Floor CR1000 we set correctly with the laptop but at midnight the tower computer set it one day ahead to match everything else.

I put the MD9 base unit in the Tower computer box. I brought the end of the coax down from the tmet 23x box to plug into the base unit. I was able to connect to remote unit 3 in the sm/fmet box but could not connect to the soilco2 23x. But now that I think about it the connection in the Floor computer box may be unplugged. Regardless it needs more work next time.

I also put in the US Connectors radio RS232 unit in the Tower computer box and put the other one on the Floor CR1000. Itâ€™s connected to the CSIO port on the Floor CR1000 and seems to be working. The Tower computer box is overflowing. It may be a good idea to put on a second box to just hold some of the communication stuff.

I tried to replace the locking bolt on the radiation boom at the top of the tower. I couldnâ€™t get it off because the threads are bunged up, but I put a handle on the top to make it easier to operate.

Siyan did the standard fieldwork. She raised the well pressure sensor and said the cable insulation is crumbling. We may need to replace this sensor.
