Summary: Cold and wet, standard data collection, tower co2 profile not running

When: Date: 1/6/2017 , Day: 6 , Watch Time: 9:30 am Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan, Joe, Dennis Weather: sunny, cold, near 0 degree C, see frost on the ground and vegetation Phenology: wet soil; a lot of standing water; ponds were full; grasses greener under oak trees. Summary Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. (Joe) Checked and downloaded phenocam images and met data from PC at Floor and Vaira. (Joe) Read dendrometers Measured soil moisture (Dennis) Measure groundwater well Collect grass samples for LAI Spectrum of Vaira grassland Download IRT data Download well data at Floor well Vaira_Grass Site Downloaded Phenocam images. (Joe) Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. (Joe) Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES Met and soil CO2 profile data: Joe fixed problems of data transferring Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Closed gate and set up fence. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. swapped the memory cards of CR1000. (Joe) download Phenocam images. Yes! (Joe) Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Screens of met dataloggers: CR23X3 – floor-Met CR23X6 – tower-Met CR10X2 – floor-Met Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 – soil CO2 profile Turn off CO2 profile system for power issue (Joe) 7. closed gate and set up fence. YES! Toniz_Floor Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. (Joe) Closed gate and set up fence. YES!
