Sherman Island: 2009-03-11 12:00:00 (DOY 70)
Author: Joe Verfaillie

Summary: Swapped LGR

2009-03-11
Sherman Island

Arrived about noontime with Ben, Matteo, Wendy and Bali (from Silver lab).

Our lock was not in loop on field gate so we cut the bailing twine “hinge” to open gate. Later talked to Walt about getting our lock back in the loop. He was generally irritated complaining that his lock had been lock out several times in the past and that scientists were roaming all over the field.

Cows had destroyed the fence around the power pole. I reassembled it as best I could and added some barbed wire in the totally broken sections.

Helped Matteo swap out LGR. New one doesn’t have rails for 19” rack.

Changed CR1000 program to output using IEEE4 byte numbers to retain more significant figures.

Still need doing:

CNR1 needs to be swapped

CR1000 program and LGR coms need to be changed to use seconds counter instead of full date time

Need code to do file synchronize with LGR file system.
