Summary: Tested rain gauge. Moved methane inlet to appropriate location near the sonic. Sherman Island data downloaded, TDR soil moisture readings taken, & spectrometer reflectance reading taken.

General Notes

Tested Rain gauge. 10x tips yielded a voltage of 2.54. We need to double check.

This sensor seems to be the model with 0.01 inch per tip and is converted to mm.

The program has a 0.254 multiplier for the rain gauge, so ten tips produces a value of 2.54

So the output is a conversion from inches to millimeters

Found the labels for the Tsoil sensors were in error. We are reading the two sensors from 2 to 50 cm then the sensor from 2 to 32 cm, rather than vice versa.

Moved the methane inlet to an appropriate location near the sonic

The inlet is 3.05 m above the ground and 0.30 from the center of the sonic

Adjusted the sonic azimuth to magnetic north.
Measured locations of sensors
- Sonic is 3.07 m from ground
- The LICOR is 0.30 m below the sonic and laterally separated by 0.25 m and is below the sonic
The well is 0.40 m above the ground.

My zip drive was giving me fits yesterday and did not copy all the files I wanted. I only got met data from day 98, so next time you go, please also get days 99, 100, 101 and 102 (*.10x) files, plus the new ones.

As for the raw data I have gaps between

D101 0230 to D102 0530

So we need to try and capture these files again. Hopefully with the new and larger drives it will work better.

If Swapping Li-7500 Analyzer. (Remove SN# ; install SN# )
Check the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors
Check MD-9 system connections
Check CR10X with two multiplexers and sensor values
Check levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.

Closed gate and set up fence.
