Summary: Water level high. Data download. Adjusted 7700 wash settings. Top FR CO2 probe needs testing.
Mayberry 2015-07-09 We arrived at about 12:45 PDT. Breezy, overcast, and warm. The water level was high. We cleaned all sensors and downloaded data. Replaced the copper mesh on the middle miniDOT. The gauge on the copper is a bit thin, which reduces the rigidness of the mesh and leaves the edges bending upwards. It’s fine, but a thicker gauge would make it easier to handle the sensor without scraping up your hand. Attempted re-install of the top Forerunner CO2 probe sn GP20140011 but it was reading close to 2% in ambient air (temp was fine) so we pulled it back in for testing. The RSSI for the 7700 was < 5% upon arrival, though the reservoir was ¾ full. When I manually tested it, there were no visible leaks in the system but I had to wait about 10 seconds for the water to reach the sensor. I increased both the spray and spin time to 20 seconds. Readings CO2: 384 ppm (395 after cleaning) H2O: 762 mmol m-3 (710 after cleaning) signal strength = 94.37% (96.2% after cleaning) p = 101.1 kPa t: 20.6 °C sos = 345.2 m s-1 CH4: 1.8 ppm (1.95 ppm after cleaning) RSSI: 4.6% (68% after cleaning) Topped off reservoir. |
