Summary: Improved power line conduit, short power outage

West Pond
2015-02-12

I arrived about 12:00. It was clear, sunny and warm with little to no wind. It looks like they have done some more work on the levees but our power cable was still okay.

I dug up the cable and conduit. I took down the power while I added another piece of conduit on the cable. I buried the two 10 foot lengths of conduit about 8 inches deep across the levee. I added ring terminals to the battery connections. I rerouted the cable up off the ground to the scaffolding.

I restarted the camera due the power interruption.

We still might put up some stakes to mark where the power line goes across the levee to try to prevent it getting cut again.
