West Pond
2014-02-25

We arrived around 16:50 PST. It was mostly cloudy at high altitude and cool with a good breeze. The vegetation has dropped drastically in height due to being blown over and beat down during the previous rainstorm. Whereas the vegetation under the instruments was quite close to them previously, the veg is now 2.5 to 3m below the instruments. Water level under the tower was good.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 403 ppm (409 after cleaning)
H2O = 470 mmol m-3 (450 after cleaning)
signal strength = 95.3% (96.8% after cleaning)
t = 18.1 C
p = 101.1 kPa
sos = 345.1 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4 = 201 ppm (1.97 after cleaning)
RSSI = 6 (83 after cleaning)
Reservoir was empty. Refilled.

The Vaisala water CO2 probe sn H1310008 was dead. Removed. Met good otherwise.
The net radiometer mount was loose. Dennis and Patty tightened and leveled by eye.
