Summary: Tules greening along margins. Tower reading well. Waspies getting active. Pulled #2 water CO2 sensor for testing.

Permanent tower
We arrived about 10:45 PDT. It was warm, cloudy, and calm. There is more prominent greening of the tules along most margins. Sara went out in the water to clean all instruments while I downloaded data and cleaned the flux instruments.

7500 readings:
CO2: 385 ppm
H2O: 680 mmol m-3
agc: 31.3 (adjusted to 29.8)
p = 101.91 kPa

Current 7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.0 ppm
RSSI = 63 (adjusted to 81 after cleaning)
Reservoir full. Beware wasp nest inside the lid (I knocked off a 5-6 wasp nest, hopefully they decide to abandon)

MET looked good except for the #2 CO2 sensor in the water. CO2 #1 was reading ~940 while CO2 #2 was reading ~5000. Sara reported the sensor housing was above the water and the sensor itself was floating in the water upon arrival. Reinstall and further playing with it didn’t revive normal values, so Sara pulled the sensor. Back in the lab there were no water leaks, further testing required. Sara also lowered the DO sensor in the tules from just barely below the surface to 5 cm below.
