Weather Sunny, temperature 97 F. Sacramento was 100 oF ! Very humid due to enough moisture and high temperature.

Trip Purpose: Predawn water potential, check 3 flux systems and download data, soil moisture probe reading, grass height measurement, dendrometer reading, A/Ci curve for oak leaf at Tonzi Ranch.

Overall: all flux systems were running great last week, except the Vaira one, which lost about half day’s data; All met instruments work fine.

Last week rain slowed the grass senescence at Tonzi ranch.

Tonzi Ranch: Arrived at 4:30 am, clear sky, temperature 70oF.

Vaira Ranch: 7:40 am arrive. Fence working, PV reading 12.4V, 2.9A, and 2.5A battery half full charged.
