Summary: Put data loggers on isolated batteries instead of main solar power - data loggers should run even when flux looses power
| 3Jan02 Jackson, Ca -- purchase grass seed and 12 volt fencer/supplies 14:05 arrive Vaira Remove both data loggers from direct connect to flux batteries and place on isolated batteries Install lead between flux batteries and regulator sense input down load data 15:30 arrive Tonzi Tower Remove 23x data logger from direct connect to flux batteries and place on isolated batteries Install lead between flux batteries and regulator sense input down load data Orange fence Remove both data loggers from direct connect to flux batteries and place on isolated batteries Install lead between flux batteries and regulator sense input down load data Note - cr10/cr23x pair drawing 250 milliamp every 6-10 sec - check this as I thought I reprogrammed them so soil moisture probes are only powered up every 15 minutes. Floor system Remove cr10x data logger from direct connect to flux batteries and place on isolated batteries Install lead between flux batteries and regulator sense input down load data Data capture over the last 2 weeks was poor Expect big change starting 4Jan02 in system operations with changes made as outlined above. |
