Vaira Ranch:

18Dec03 Remove hard drive from Laptop (Dilbert) and replace with new upgraded harddrive format. This worked very nicely and saved both time and effort at the site. <;)

Move precip gage from below boom arm to above boom arm This may not be a good idea as the Pyranometer may now SEE the precip gage reflections. Dennis may want to change this upon his next site visit.

Remove 2nd rate T&RH radiation shield with 6” sq fan (0.5amp) and replace with new rad shield with smaller 0.165 amp fan 1” sq

Unable to use User&Groups in control panel and had to go thru computer management to reset password.

Upon initial boot the Virus definition outdate warning pops up and kills Gillsonic.exe- corrected.

Buy springs to spring load Vaira fence to give it a more bulletproof stature
Twist up new fence wire in lab not at the site

Turning on new T&RH shield fan kills the computer- may need to install larger gage wire fan – this may also be evidence of a ground loop in the system

Acetone to clean Vaira regulator box from fire damage
