Summary: Standard field work, everything very wet, clip plots, raised well sensor at Tonzi

Summary

  1. Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites.
  2. Checked and downloaded phenocam images from PC at Tower and Vaira
  3. Downloaded Tonzi soilCO2 profile data manually at the Tower PC. The PC may have problems to connect to the datalogger on the daily basis.
  4. Read dendrometers
  5. Measured soil moisture
  6. Measure groundwater well and download GlobalWater data; shortened the yellow cable of the GlobalWater sensor due to increases in the groundwater level
  7. Collect grass samples for LAI
  8. Spectrum of Vaira grassland
  9. Download IRT data

Vaira_Grass Site

  1. Fence worked.
  2. A lot of ants in the PC enclosure; tried cleaning up but still some.
  3. Downloaded Phenocam images.
  4. Swapped the memory cards of CR1000.
  5. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES!
  6. Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES!
  7. Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
  8. Closed gate and set up fence. YES!

Tonzi_Tower Site

  1. Fence worked.
  2. swapped the memory cards of CR1000.

  3. Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
