Summary: Regular data collection, adjusted LI7700 heater setting

Arrived at 9:30. It was a little cloudy with fluffy â€˜sheepâ€™ clouds and cool with no wind. It was really hazy along the horizon. Alfalfa was roughly 20cm tall.

We collected USB GHG data and collected met data. All looks good. We swapped the CF camera card.

When we first connected to the 7550 box the Li7700 showed a warning â€˜times not synchronizedâ€™. We reset the 7550 box and that seemed to fix it. After that we had some issues with the USB drive and it would not log. We removed this drive and put in the old one after the data was cleared. Everything seemed to work fine again.

Sam updated the heater settings for the LI7700 to 20% power top and bottom (up from 15% previously) and increased the time when it would stop heating to 11am (was set to 9am before) to help with nightly data loss due to dew.
Joe tried to tilt the LI7500 also to help with data loss due to dew, but was not successful in tilting it.

Refilled wash water reservoir, was 2/3 full. Cleaned eddy flux sensors and radiation sensors.

Joe updated the met program to include the right SDM address for the new soil moisture probe that we had put out during the last visit. The original probe was destroyed in the mowing incident. The old SDM address was 4, new probe has an SDM address of 5. We saw the soil moisture readings working after the update.

There was water in the well in the ditch, but not in the actual ditch -> WT came up a little bit.

H2O 365.6 mmol/m3
T 8.68 Celsius
P 102.2 kPa
SS 75.4 -> 76.3 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 2.94
RSSI: 36 -> 76.6 after cleaning
