Summary: Flux system for tower was down (5 days of data loss); low voltage over night shut down floor flux systems.

Arrived around 12:15, grass germinated very uniformly, height was estimated about 1-2 cm and LAI was estimated by eye was around 0.1 to 0.2. at both tonzi and vaira sites. 1. The flux system at the Tower has been dead since d324 around 2030, also the CR23X at the top of the tower was dead on d324 2130 due to the low battery voltage. So we lost about 5 days met data. I replaced the battery. That datalogger was running on its own battery. All the solar panels are super clean after the big storm. Photovoltaic controller reading was 12.8V, 4.3A and 2.6 A 2. At the floor flux system, The flux system was running, but almost every night the system was shut down due to the low voltage. the watchdog helps lot to turn the system back on !!! Photovoltaic controller reading at floor was 12.4V, 2.6 and 2.2 A. 3. Took soil moisture point sensor and dendrometer reading. The trees expanded lot after rain. Vaira, 1500 hours 1. The computer was on, but the sonic program was frozen 2 hr before I got there. Also almost every night the computer was shut down due to the low voltage. We need more power. Downloaded data. 2. soil moist point sensor reading. 3. Check the voltage of battery for the fence, it was around 12.5 V. Photovoltaic controller reading 12.0, 1.2 and 3.2 A.
