Summary: Computer on floor system was dead; PAR sensors still had issues.
| Who: LX When: June 2, 2001 Where: Tonzi At Tonzi Ranch: 10:00 arrived hot and litter overcast. The computer of the floor system was dead. The plug for the power cable was loose. Restart the computer and sonic program. At the top of the tower, connected shield wires of all the PAR sensors to the ground of the CR23X data logger. The voltage output from the two upward PAR sensors was around 2.8 -3 mv which is only about 600 umol/m2s of PAR. so the PAR sensors still have some problem. replaced MD9 and ribbon cable at the top of the tower, still no communication with the computer of the floor system. at 10:40 opened Nancy's datalogger box, the one near the floor flux system, show the visiting professor the sap flow measurement and data logging system. |
