Weather; mild temp, light winds, clear

Phenology: the pepperweed has died, but green grass has come up since the big rains a couple weeks back

The nearest ditch was full of water up to the tower level

The PC and CR clocks were way off, 2hours and 10 minutes fast. I reset the clocks with the internet and renamed ‘future’ raw files, for 1530, 1600 1630 and 1700 so they wont get written over and lost or crash the system. For example the 1700 file will need to be renames something like 1500, etc and work back with the files until we find when solar noon is creeping 1 and 2 hours

Tasks

1. check and download data at Sherman Island
2. Take TDR soil moisture readings
3. take spectrometer reflectance reading
4. Sample additional water Table ports
5. Sample LAI and plant height

Sherman Island Pasture Site

e. Cleaning filter improved pressure to 123 torr. We need to change and clean 2 micron filter next time and recalibrate. The methane signal seems a bit low due to the lower pressure….

7. Check the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors
8. Check MD-9 system connections
9. Check CR23X with two multiplexers and sensor values
