Summary: Set up tower at new Twitchell East End wetland. Running smoothly! 7500 swapped.

We tore down the tower at the construction site and set it back up at the permanent site for the new wetland. Ground sensors were also installed and the tower is currently collecting data. Some notes:

Lat: 38.10275 N
Long: 121.64125 W
The site has a good 800+ m fetch to the west that was graded in the last several months. Currently the fetch has a moderate amount of weed cover. There are even a few cattails growing in the puddles to the south of the tower.

Distance from:
- Ground to the center of the sonic: 5.36 m. Sonic was aligned with true north.
- Ground to the center of the 7700: 5.30 m
- Ground to the center of the 7500: 5.35 m
-Sonic to the 7700: 0.20 m (east of sonic)
-Sonic to the 7500: 0.24 m (east of sonic)
- Ground to the HMP 60: 5 m
- Ground to the net radiometer: 4.53 cm (length of boom is 2.5m)

Serial numbers for heat flux plates:
-SN 6649 (calibration coefficient: 62.0 uV W-1 m-2)
-SN 6499 (calibration coefficient: 62.6 uV W-1 m-2)
-SN 00244 (calibration coefficient: 61.5 uV W-1 m-2)

Serial numbers for soil moisture probes:
-822107
-522107

Thermocouple profiles were installed at 285, 213, and 365 cm North, West, and South of the tower, respectively. Profiles include thermocouples at -16, -8, -2, +2, +8, +16, +32, and +64 cm, where - indicates below the soil and + indicates above the soil. Profiles are wired from -16 to 64 cm (i.e. H1L1 = -16cm and H8L8 = 64 cm for profile A).

What is labeled as PAR_out is actually PAR_in at the moment. The cable for the PAR_in sensor was accidentally sheared by the folding arm of the radiation boom and needs to be soldered back together. PAR_out is currently taped to the radiation boom facing upward.

The batteries and solar panels were installed on the south side of the tower. The plan is to move them out into the channel just a bit further south to avoid theft. The batteries will also need to be raised when the wetland is flooded.

The 7500 was swapped for calibration - sn 0042 came off and sn 0073 went on.
