| At Tonzi Floor
The tram car was in dock. The voltage in the charging pins read 11.8V but the solar charge controller read above 12V for the battery bank. It is possible that the tram is not charging fully and that its data logger program is not moving it out of dock. The two extra batteries I added to the Floor solar power system last time were also low on water. I used all the water there to fill them, but they still need some more. At the Floor tower the computer was having problems. It seemed to be powered up and running but no display to the screen. On reboot the usual boot up info showed on the screen but as the OS loaded the screen reported no signal and the computer didn't sound like it was fully running. Lastly, I rebooted with the screen off, the computer seemed to go through a normal boot and sounded like it was fully running. I suppose it could be power problems though the solar charge controller reported voltages above 12V and reasonable loads. Could also be a bad or failing video card in the computer or perhaps a video driver. I plan to look at the Data Siyan collected last time and go out again on Tuesday with a spare computer. |
