I took this pyranometer apart and soldered a new short cable to the contacts on the bottom side of the sensor. The wiring colors are the same: red+, blue-, shield. There was a white wire that doesn't seem to be used which I replaced with a yellow so that it is accessible outside the case. It needs new desiccant and probably a longer wire spliced on to be used on a tower. There is a scratch on the outer dome and it needs an inter-comparison. |
