6416 2023-09-18 Lab none Loaned Loaned none Loaned to Gracie Pearsall at UCSC for a informational display at Elkhorn Reserve
6179 2023-01-25 Lab none Tested Disposed none Removed the spliced cable and tested in the lab. Still no response on the terminal emulator. This sensor is probably dead. It's weird that both incoming and outgoing sensors went bad at the the same time. Both sensors had spliced cables and were connected to the same C port and the same pluggable power block. One of the spliced wires for data (red) had a few cracks in the plastic sheath; maybe it shorted against the bare G wire and killed both sensors.
