I connected a DB9 connector white to pin 2, green to pin 3, and power to a lithium power pack, pink to +12V and gray to G and a spare brown wire between G and pin5 on the DB9. This allowed me to communicate with the probe via a serial terminal. I managed to get it to tell me its error notices and it confessed that its IR source has failed. Vaisala's web site has a automated repair quote process that had a flat repair fee for about 0 and a calibration fee of about 0. I'll send it for repair. |
