After being moved, but not treated roughly, the analyzer stopped reporting CH4. The ring time is variable from 2 to 20usec and the spectrum looks odd. Cleaning the mirrors made no difference. LGR thinks there is something wrong with the laser. At this time there is an 8 week wait for repairs and a minimum cost of 00 for cleaning and calibration - any repairs would be an additional cost. We don't need this analyzer right now and will wait to repair it. |
