Summary: Finished running cables, Setup CR1000, Water traps added.

11/4/2009

Arrived about 9am PST. Cool, windy, a bit hazy.

Finished running cables including unsoldering and resoldering Gill 15 pin connector to run cable through small hole, and swapping LI7500 SMD cable with longer one built in the lab.

Setup CR1000 with Sherman program. Using newer Biomet LGR CH4 analyzer sn 08-0114. Scroll pump loaned from LGR. External 2um filter a little plugged up and had to open bypass valve all the way to reach 142 Torr.

Small LGR supplied AC to DC converter not strong enough for all three Sonic, CR100 and LI7500. I connected LI7500 to DC power supply for ventilation fan in top of trailer.

Added water traps in both CH4 and H2O isotope lines at the point where the lines leave the tower. Isotope line had some condensation inside of it.

CH4 inlet has rain funnel and wire screening, isotope in let LGR supplied.

LGR CH4 system readings
Permanent tower
12:18:56, 1.962ppm, 24.66C, 139.59Torr, 16.331usec, 4277.4hrs, 10Hz

New tower
13:15, 1.924ppm, 23.54C, 142.22Torr, 15.625usec, 2336.1hrs, 10Hz

Fixed cow fence around power pole by wiring in place the cross pieces.
