Summary: All is well, some water in 23x box due to wire pinch in door.
| When: Wed-Thurs 9Dec04 JD-322 Where: Vaira Ranch Who: Ted Hehn Weather – Recent rains, cool and clear Vaira Ranch: 9Dec04 All appears well except there was about 4 oz of water inside the CR23x3 enclosure – no damage. This is a result of having the NDVI leads pinched in the door instead of entering through the cable hole. System volts not reading correctly on data logger. Multi-meter shows 2.2 volts and data logger reading is 1.8. Problem here is that when I reconfigured the met station system I isolated the grounds between the system and the data logger. Therefore, a system ground wire will need to be added to the signal return contact on the data logger. |
