Summary: Start re-configuring met systems
| When: Thur, 22Jul04 JD-204 Where: Vaira Ranch Who: Ted Hehn Weather Clear & Hot Trip Purpose: Reconfigure Vaira site from CR10x.CR23x to CR23x/Mux1/Mux2 Vaira Ranch: 22Jul04 Note: on 23x3 data logger the power wire to the T&RH sensor was loose. 8:02 begin reconfiguration of met-loggers by powering down the data loggers. Remove all wiring from CR23x3. Remove all wiring from CR10x2 Leave wiring for soil profile thermo couples intact on Mux1. Move the soil heat flux leads to channels 16-18 and move all soil moisture leads to channels 19-23. Channels 24-32 open. Remove logger enclosures from mounts and place on ground. Remove all devices and aluminum back panels and use RTV silicon to remount loggers, MD9s and Muxs. Move 4 way radiometer from tripod to new boom arm. |
