Summary: Tower laptop swapped, clip plots, moisture point, DBH

Weather: Cloudy, soil almost saturated. Grass grows very slow in Tonzi site, but grow lot at Vaira site.

Tower EC system was running great. Ted swapped the laptop, I cleaned the lens for licor 7500 at top of the tower.

Floor EC, system was running great. Download data, PV reading 13.8, 16.9, 1.9.Gillsonic outputs are all in the right range.

Took 3 grass LAI samples at Tonzi

I measured soil CO2 efflux along the transect and checked and downloaded the soil CO2 profile measurements. CO2 efflux averaged 3-4 umol m-2 s-1 under trees, while 2 umol m-2 s-1 in the open areas. CO2 concentration in soils is up to 2%. Stem respiration is about 1 umol m-2 s-1.
